Who Are We?
The MCL/BJM is a community of people working together to provide library services and programs in western Puerto Rico, especially but not exclusively for children. The Library was founded in 1992, so 2017 is our 25th anniversary year. In 2004 we received the Institute of Musem and Library Services (IMLS) National Award for Excellence in Community Service, the first Puerto Rican library to be so honored.
We hope you like what you see on our website and that you will visit us on the 3rd floor of the Banco Popular Building on the Plaza Colón in Mayagüez.
